Experience is gained by what one goes through in life and not by the number of years that one has lived!
#BravingTheOdds has taught me that experience consists of various situations that one goes through in life both good and bad. Failure is also part of the experience. But it must not always be viewed from a negative perspective as experience or failure can also lead to an end result of success. Success has been defined as the sum total of small efforts or retries repeated day in and day out.
If one keeps trying (each time with better knowledge ) these efforts start to accumulate they add up into the toolbox that we accumulate over time (through experience)
Experience also builds Character.
Our character is developed through time, it is developed through our experiences and what we choose to learn from them. Character is not built the first time you go through an experience but it is built after the third and fourth tries/trials!
Always keep in mind when someone says to you, do you have the right experience, that it is not only the number of years you have spent but all the tests and trials you have been through and how you were able to overcome. It is how many times you tried and failed but you never gave up.
Giving up is the greatest failure! A little more persistence and that little more effort make the difference in what is defined as success! As Winston Churchill once said, Never, never, never, never give up!
